Summer Art Camps!

Are you ready for color splashing, creative juicing, and all-around glorious mess-making?? Then it’s time to sign up for Busy Bonez Art Camp!

I have been creating with kids for over 30 years and they are ALWAYS my favorite collaborators. I’m so excited to be offering SUMMER ART CAMPS!!!

Camps will be held in my home (which we have lovingly dubbed Magichouse) in The Village area of OKC, with morning sessions for ages 5-8 and afternoon sessions for ages 9-12. There is limited seating (10 per camp) so if you see something you’re interested in, claim it ASAP!

Aprons will be provided but campers should always wear clothing and shoes that can get wet and messy.

    TAG IT
    June 3-7

We will explore the stunning effects of layering colors, marks and text on various surfaces à la graffiti techniques. We will use safe spray paints, inks, acrylic paints and markers. Campers will come home with at least three completed projects.

    LIGHT IT UP
    ​June 10-14

Campers will create enchanting lanterns, candleholders and CANDLE-IERS that will be SURE to add some magic to your summer nights.

    ON THE GRID
    ​June 17-21

We will be working with tile and mosaic techniques this week creating magnets, coasters and more!!

    LITTLE BIG STUFF
    ​June 24-28

Campers will explore size, dimension and perspective in this painting class. We will paint teensy things HUGE and HUGE things teensy. This is always a camper fave!

    LEMME TAKE A SELFIE
    ​July 1-5

We will take selfies to the artistic extreme making masks, 3d sculptures and self portraits from unique and personal artifacts. This is one of my absolute favorites!!

    FAERIES AND GOBLINS AND GNOMES, OH MY!
    ​July 8-12

Campers will construct houses, furniture, and gardens for all sorts of magical creatures this week. The possibilities are endlessly fascinating!!

    STICKS AND STONES
    July 15-19

Nature will be our inspiration this week as we create ways to tell our stories with story stones and sticks, spread love with kindness rocks and do a little free-form weaving.

    HANG LOOSE
    ​July 22-26

Campers will make personal pennants, bodacious buntings and groovy garlands! We’ll work with paper, fabric, clay and wood. So many fun techniques in this one!!

    TAG IT 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO
    July 29-Aug 2

That’s right! It’s so popular we’re doing it again!! All new projects, same awesome techniques. Let’s do it!!

    SKULL-PTURE

Campers will work with plaster, wood and wire to create at least three colorful, playful, displayable masterpieces.
